The Bucs used their sixth round pick to select Southern Cal running back Allen Bradford, 187th overall.
At 5-foot-11, 242-pounds, Bradford rushed for 794 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 7.2 yards per carry.
Despite his size, Bradford ran a 4.59 40-yard dash at USC's pro day. He's a powerful back, not unlike LeGarrette Blount, who led the Bucs with 1,007 yards rushing as a rookie.
But with Cadillac Williams an unrestricted free agent and Kareem Huggins coming off a torn ACL, the Bucs needed some depth at the running back position. Bradford orginally was recruited to USC as a safety.
