Mississippi State has formally entered the Brandon Holloway derby, verbally offering a scholarship to the fleet Alonso tailback, Ravens athletic director K.R. Lombardia said.
Lombardia, incidentally, received his masters degree from MSU.
Holloway, who will compete in the 100- and 200-meter dash and 4x400 relay at this weekend's Class 4A state meet, now has received roughly a dozen offers. Among them: Vanderbilt, FIU, Temple, Ball State and South Alabama.
