Osceola's Hannah Demarest, who helped revive the school's struggling girls basketball program the past two seasons, signed with Southeastern University.
Demarest led the Warriors in points, rebounds, steals and blocks every season of her high school career. This past season, Demarest helped Osceola start 6-3, including beating Seminole and Gibbs for the first time in more than a decade. But she missed the rest of the season with an injury. In nine games, she averaged 17.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 7.2 steals per game. She was selected for the Pinellas County girls all-star game and the Pinellas vs. Hillsborough all-star game.
Demarest also is valedictorian of her class.
