Still think Lindsay Lohan will do any hard time for stealing that $2,500 necklace, especially with repeated probation violations and obvious contempt for any court proceeding against her? Well, then, we have a deed to the Howard Frankland to sell you.

After a no contest plea from attorney Shawn Chapman Holley, Judge Stephanie Sautner ruled Wednesday that Lohan, who was not in court, won't have to serve additional time in jail for the theft, but will get 120 days for probation violation, TMZ reports. That sentence, which will likely amount to 14 whole days in real time, may be carried out under house arrest with an electronic monitoring bracelet if the Sheriff's department allows it.

"I am glad to be able to put this past me and move on with my life and my career. I support the judge's decision and hold myself accountable for being in this situation," Lohan said in a statement. "I have already started my community service at the Downtown Women's Center and thank everyone there for their warm welcome. I hope to be able to fulfill my obligation without any press attention. I think the media spotlight should be on issues such as homelessness and domestic violence instead of on me." Sure they will .... sure they will.

More interestingly, Sautner said she didn't think Lohan's problem was substance abuse -- um, ooooookaaaay -- but rather emotional, resulting in her repeated self-medicating, the site says. Say, isn't that a definition of substance abuse? It's been awhile since D.A.R.E. class in grade school.

So while Lindsay has to undergo psychological counseling and a shoplifting class, she won't be getting any more substance abuse counseling. Well, it wasn't doing her any good, anyway. Meanwhile, she will be off probation for her DUI if she completes 480 hours of community service, but gets another three years on probation for the theft. Gee, she couldn't possibly get in any trouble during that time, could she?
