NEIL PATRICK HARRIS BACK AS HOST OF TONY AWARDS

It's official, fans of the stage: Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting the Tony Awards again this year after his crackerjack show in 2009. Now all you have to do is get to a big theater city and catch the entries you haven't seen yet. "Since they're closed for retooling, we're using all the rigging equipment from Spider-Man. What could possibly go wrong," Harris joked in a statement, PopEater reports. "I'm honored and stoked to have been asked to host the 2011 Tony Awards. It should be a great show - we've got a fantastic mix of live performances (and) a few secret surprises." The show is June 12.

'Gossip Girl' sheds 2 actors

When the CW's Gossip Girl comes back in the fall, the cast will have shed a few pounds, in the form of Taylor Momsen, top, and Jessica Szohr. Where we get all our eye shadow and eavesdropping advice now? The pair won't be regulars for the show's fifth season, TVLine.com's Michael Aussielo says, but they will be back as guest stars. Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford all return, though. To take up some of the slack, Lively's cousin on the show, Kaylee DeFer, joins the cast full time. Meanwhile, we'll have to put up with more of Momsen's attempts at a music career. Szohr, well, maybe she can go back to school.
