Mrs. Albrecht was born Nov. 14, 1922 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late James Klouzer and Mildred Neushardt Klouzer. BACHMAN, Norman 87, of New Port Richey, passed peacefully on May 9. He will be missed by his children, Merle of Louisville, KY and Gregg of Crystal Beach; by his grandchildren, Shayna and Elayna; his daughter-in-law Sherrie Teddy; his sisters, Ruth Weinberg of Sarasota and Addie Myers of Atlanta and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Al. The owner/operator for many years of Gulfcoast Pools of Hudson, Norm was a proud WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps and served his country with distinction with the 9th Air Force 373 Fighter Group, which received battle honors for their part in the Allied advance in 1945: the crossing of the Rhine. He loved golf (often beating men half his age), movies and reading, especially with his friends at BAM in New Port Richey. BUSCHENA, Arnold J. Jr (Arnie), 90, of Clearwater, passed away May 6, 2011. He was born in Winthrop, Mass. and was a veteran of WWII, severing in the U.S. Army Air Forces. He graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S. degree. He came to St. Pete in 1951 and came to Clearwater in 2001. He worked for Florida Power Corp; retiring after 31 years as a Transmissions Project Engineer. He was a 50 year volunteer in the B.S.A., were he held the Wood Badge and Silver Beaver Award. GLAZE, Francis W. Jr. "Frank" passed peacefully into God's loving arms on May 4, 2011. He is survived by his wife Marguerite (Garie) Glaze; his children Gloria G. Brown (Colora, MD), Mark Glaze (Stevensville, MD), Dawn G. Riggins (Woodbridge, VA), and John Glaze (Chaparral, NM). Other survivors include his sister Ruthanna Lehnert (Havre De Grace, MD) and Norman Glaze (Tifton, GA). Seven grandchildren, along with his nieces and nephews and respective spouses were all loved by him. He was a Chemical Engineer graduate of the University of Maryland. He was a World War II decorated veteran assigned to the U.S. Army, 8th Infantry 4th Division as a Major. Following the war he worked for the DuPont Company 37-1/2 years. Upon retirement he operated his own consulting business (Industrial Associates Inc.), served on two vestries in PA/DE, belonged to the American Chemical Society, participated in the Lion's Club of DE/PA and worked for SCORE in Florida. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Clearwater on May 14th at 11 am. Burial services will follow in St. John's Memorial Garden. JOHNSTON, Robert "Bob" 84, of Holiday, died May 8, 2011. He was an 8th grade graduate of the Monifiore School, where he was editor of their newspaper. He filed an application for the draft and was accepted into the Army. He served his training at Ft. Meade, AR and was stationed in the South Pacific. He served as a member of the 387th Motor Ambulance Co. Separate in Hiroshima, Japan. When his father was diagnosed with a terminal illness, he was denied emergency leave by the Red Cross, but his commanding officer, Lt. M. Geiger granted his leave within 24 hours. He was past president Grandview Park Boy's Club and Oak Lawn Sanitary District. He moved to Florida in 1979 and joined the American Legion Post #173 and was a past Commander in Chief. Survived by 4 children, Robert "Buck"; April Hanley, Michael and Wendy Unger; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. MANNINO, M. James "Jim" 85, Clearwater, passed away peacefully in his sleep, May 7, 2011, at Suncoast Hospice, Brookside. Born in Staten Island, NY, he was predeceased by his loving parents, Anthony and Teresa, in addition to brothers John and Frank. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Phyllis; his son, James of Land O'Lakes; sister Teresa of Clearwater; brother I. Joseph and his wife JoAnne of Sarasota and many nieces and nephews. MARTINEZ, Gregory L. Jr. died on May 08, 2011. Gregory was born on May 23, 1922 and was a native of West Tampa. He graduated from Hillsborough High School and then went on to serve in WWII under General Patton. He then from Columbia College at Columbia University. Gregory lived in New York City for over 60 years. He was a member of the New York Stock Exchange as a commodities representative in coffee. He was a charter member of Windows on the World, which was located on the top floors of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Gregory was recognized for his beautification of 22nd Street for landscaping during the early revival of the Chelsea area of NYC. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio Martinez and Palmira Yanez Martinez and his brother, Andrew J Martinez. He is survived by his long time companion Dr. George E Handler, his siblings: Matilda Martinez Garcia, Palmira Martinez Fernandez, Zoraida Martinez Gullo, William J. MOORE, Patricia Sue 75, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Carbondale, IL, she came to St. Petersburg in 1960. She graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1957 and became an airline stewardess for Eastern Airlines in Miami until she married her college sweetheart in 1959. They moved to Pontiac, MI, where she became a school teacher, but one Michigan winter was enough for her and they moved to St. Petersburg. She continued her teaching career at Madeira Beach Elementary until her son was born in 1963. In the 1970's she was a Welcome Wagon hostess, and in the 1980's she was an office manager for an Acupuncture Clinic in Pasadena. She was an avid supporter of the SPCA Tampa Bay Heritage Society, and particularly loved cats, dogs and Teddy Bears. She was preceded in death by her best friend and companion of 30 years, Ed Harlow. She is survived by her son, Theodore "Ted" Moore and grand-children, Luke, Rory and Jonah. NARDOZZI, Patricia Ann 79, of St. Petersburg died at home May 8, 2011. She was much loved by her family and dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. Her sharp wit and keen sense of humor was appreciated by the entire family and has been passed along to her children and grandchildren. NEWBILL, Harold S. 82, of Pinellas Park, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011. Harold was born in Dyersburg, TN. He moved to this area in 1985 from Ohio. Harold retired from the Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. He was a supervisor over sales and distribution. Harold was a member of the First Assembly of God in Pinellas Park, a member of Ely Masonic Lodge # 424 and a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII and the Korean War. PEASE, Virgil, C. 76, of St. Petersburg, went home to serve God on Monday, May 9th. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, 2 sisters, and son Micheal. Virgil is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Vennitta; son, Tommy; daughter, Vicki; son, Jeffery, son Kevin; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a sister Mary. Virgil worked for Continental Food Services as a semi driver for 30 years. He loved the outdoors, always finding something to do from mowing the yard to riding his motor-cycle. Virgil never met a stranger and his goal in life was to make one person smile every day and he did his job well. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. PEDRICK, Frederick Oliver 96, of Leesburg, passed away in Riverview, May 7, 2011. He was born in Stark, on March 13, 1915. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and retired from the postal service. He lived in the area since 1939 coming from Leesburg where he was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; stepsons, Robert and Ronnie Wood; and sister, Hanna Roof. He is survived by his son, Denny Pedrick (Diane); two step-daughters, Dorothy Edwards (Wayne) and Shirley Blume (Jerry); step-daughters-in law, Betty Sue and Tonna Wood; and numerous loving grand-children, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 11 am, Friday, May 13, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
