Appearance: The Kizashi Sport adds a few touches - an aero kit and sport wheels - to give it a more athletic look. Our tester came with a roof rack, which takes away from the overall streamlined look. The exhaust tips are sculpted into the rear bumpers for a finished look.
Performance: The 185-horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder is the same as the other Kizashi trims. It's more than adequate, especially with the light and easy-to-shift 6-speed manual transmission. We haven't tested the available Continuous Variable Transmission, but we'd prefer the manual for the fun factor. The lightweight Kizashi Sport's ride is spirited with its sport-tuned suspension, which reduces the ride height by 10 millimeters. A few more horses would have been nice. All-wheel drive is available, but FWD is just fine with us.
Interior: The cabin is full of upper-end features, including keyless entry and push-button start, heated seats, 10-way driver's seat, three-setting seat memory, park assist, rear vents and Bluetooth phone connection. Other features include power sunroof , heated exterior mirrors, auto rain sensing wipers, and auto lights. The 10-speaker 425-watt Rockford Fosgate audio system, with iPod and MP3 USB ports, drowned out road noise for an enjoyable ride.
The Suzuki Kizashi left a good impression with us when we first reviewed it last year. The elegant sedan with affordable luxury now has a Sport version that adds a bit of fun to the ride.
