A woman kicked out a bedroom window and screamed for help during an argument with her live-in boyfriend about 3 p.m. Saturday, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Patrick M. Kessler, 45, of 9230 Elmira Ave. in Hudson, is accused of holding down his girlfriend and sitting on her chest during the fight, refusing to let her go, an arrest report states. A neighbor heard the woman's cries and came inside the house and pulled Kessler off the woman, authorities said.

Kessler stole his girlfriend's car and later turned himself in to the Sheriff's Office, the report states.

He is charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, false imprisonment, domestic battery, not having a valid driver's license and felony fleeing to elude a law enforcement officer. He is being held without bail at the Pasco County jail.

Kessler told deputies he just "wanted to talk" with his girlfriend, the report states.
