Frazier, Astroth make 6A all-state team

Plant junior Michael Frazier, Hillsborough County's top scorer this past season, and Wharton senior guard A.J. Astroth are second- and third-teamers, respectively, on the Class 6A all-state boys basketball team released Saturday.

The team is compiled by The Orlando Sentinel and, with input from newspapers statewide.

Frazier, a University of Florida commitment, averaged nearly a double-double (29.7 ppg, 9.7 rpg) for the Panthers, who reached the 6A playoffs. Astroth, Wharton's alltime scoring leader, averaged roughly 20 points and five boards for the Wildcats, who came within a game of the 6A final four.
