Shark Tank blogger Javier Manjarres has been at war with the Broward Republican Executive Committee and chairman Richard DeNapoli, and filed a series of complaints against REC members with the state GOP. After a marathon meeting of the RPOF grievance committee Friday, members unanimously voted that three of Manjarres' complaints be dismissed, including the one against DeNapoli, and a fourth be dismissed after a Republican operative retract something he supposedly said about Manjarres' criminal record.
Another complaint filed against Manjarres - himself an alternate member of the Broward REC - was recommended for dismissal - provided Manjarres stop blogging about the Broward Republican executive committee. Manjarres said his understanding is he must no longer blog about the REC meetings themselves.
"The grievances I filed were dismissed because the evidence contained in my claims was accurate, but it wasn't enough to get an REC member kicked off the REC," Manjarres said.
The criminal charges in 1995 were for burglary with assault, for which Manjarres pleaded guilty though adjudication was withheld. He said it involved a girlfriend-related dispute. "It was a fist fight. I kicked this guy's door."
