Man calls 911 80 times in 5 hours

A Volusia County man called 911 about 80 times in five hours, prompting authorities to finally stop his calls by arresting him, cfnews13.com reports.

We aren't sure what John Calvery's original call was about, but the affidavit charging him says the 57-year-old would call dispatchers and tell them he was not afraid of opening fire on Port Orange police officers.

"I'll be on my porch with a gun, and I don't give a (expletive) if they are the cops," he is quoted as saying. But he didn't shoot at anyone when arrested.
