Start anticipating the tarragon chicken salad and tomato basil tarts. Apropos Restaurant and Catering, a popular downtown spot in late 1980s and '90s, is re-emerging in the Snell Arcade Building at 8 Fourth St. N. Suzy Johnson, one of the original owners and creators, will have some of the old favorites and new items on a menu of classic American cuisine made fresh daily. Since opening Apropos in 1988, she has been the catering director for the Ringling Museum and had a few eateries in Hawaii. Apropos, which is going into the space formerly occupied by G's Rotisserie Grill, will have indoor and outdoor seating. Renovations are under way and the restaurant should open in June.
