One of the biggest stars living in the Tampa Bay area is Brian Johnson, lead singer of AC/DC, who has a home in Sarasota. He's been known to pop into venues like Cuso's Cantina and the Daiquiri Deck on Gulf Boulevard in Pinellas County.
This month, Spin magazine decided to pay Johnson a visit in their "At Home With..." featurette. They hung out in Johnson's garage, where he showed off some of his car memorabilia, including a 1928 Bentley Vanden Plas Le Mans Tourer that would make Jay Leno green with envy, as well as a few platinum records and a unique fan poster from Russia.
The tour is no doubt timed to coincide with the release of Johnson's new book, Rockers and Rollers: A Full-Throttle Memoir, a book about his love of classic cars, which comes out next week. He has a few book signings planned for the New York area, but none so far in Tampa Bay. Let's rectify that soon, m'kay, Bri?
