GAGA NOW WORLD'S TOP CELEB

Oprah Winfrey got some bad news as she's wrapping up her long-running talk show: Lady Gaga has wrested away the title of world's most powerful celebrity in this year's Forbes' Celebrity 100. It's no fun being No. 2, is it? "Gaga is there not just because of the $90 million she earned with a monster tour, but also because of her 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers," the magazine said. Justin Bieber,a newcomer to the list of actors, models, athletes, authors, musicians and comedians who form the club, came in at No. 3, followed by the members of U2, Elton John, Tiger Woods (yep, he's back), Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Simon Cowell and LeBron James.

MIKE SEAVER HATES SCIENCE. AGAIN.

Eighties child star-turned-evangelist Kirk Cameron is lashing out at theoretical physicist (and Presidential Medal of Freedom winner) Stephen Hawking after the scientist gave an interview in which he declared heaven was a "fairy story" for those afraid of death, E! reports. "Why should anyone believe Mr. Hawking's writings if he cannot provide evidence for his unscientific belief that out of nothing, everything came?" Cameron asked E! News. "To say anything negative about Stephen Hawking is like bullying a blind man. He has an unfair disadvantage, and that gives him a free pass on some of his absurd ideas." To be specific, Hawking's exact words to the U.K.'s Guardian were: "I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken-down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark."
