Iman Smith makes for a hot Pinellas Park pair

Who would have thunk that two of Pinellas County's hottest recruits this spring would both hail from the same school, and that that school would be Pinellas Park?

Well, coach Kenny Crawford for one, who has long lauded the skills of Florida commitment Jeremi Powell and teammate Iman Smith, who picked up his fifth offer Thursday.

Smith, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound multi-positional athlete for the Patriots, was offered by Temple.

He already has offers from Western Michigan, Ball State, Bowling Green and Florida A&M, and Crawford says more are to come as the interest from schools like Tennessee, Mississippi, Iowa State and West Virginia intensifies.

And there might be another Patriot to start keeping your eye on: running back Marquis Samuels, who is starting to stir up collegiate interest.
