Recruiting updates

Osceola diver Cayla Collins committed to Florida Gulf Coast recently. This past season, Collins was the district champion and region runnerup in 1-meter diving. She went on to place eighth at the Class 2A state meet in Orlando. Collins also was a pole vaulter for the Warriors.

- Indian Rocks Christian's Jessica Logemann received her first offer from Division II Alabama-Huntsville, Golden Eagles girls basketball coach Phil Farver said.

Logemann, a rising senior, holds the IRC record for most 3-pointers made in a career with 230. She averaged 11.6 points and 9.4 assists and helped lead the Golden Eagles to a 28-4 record and their second straight appearance in the Class 2A region final.

Green Devils Perry, Coleman commit to schools

St. Petersburg wide receiver/tight end Javaris Perry and defensive lineman Charles Colemancommitted to colleges recently, coach Joe Fabrizio said. Perry is going to College of the Redwoods in Eureka, Calif., where he'll join former St. Petersburg players Alex Cole, Willie Culver, Chris Johnson, Amare Hart and Malik Wilson. Coleman is heading to Webber International in Babson Park.
