CCC will play Berkeley Prep on Friday. Berkeley Prep defeated Tampa Catholic 7-0 in the other semifinal. "St. Petersburg Catholic was very good and probably deserved better," CCC coach Jim Harte said. "But we played very well. We were able to finish."
3A-10, Dunedin 2, Osceola 0: The Falcons are going to a region tournament for the first time since 1998. Dunedin, a No. 4 seed in the district, got goals from Teddy Aloizakis and Mike Koulouvaris and stellar goalkeeping from Jared Lucero to earn the shutout. Dunedin will play at Palmetto Friday at 7 p.m. Palmetto defeated Bradenton Southeast 3-1.
5A-8, Palm Harbor University 1, St. Petersburg 0: The Hurricanes remained undefeated and advanced to the district final. Brandon Kim scored a first-half goal and Joshua Preisig recorded six saves to earn the shutout.
A-7, Indian Rocks Christian 2, Cambridge Christian 0: The Golden Eagles improved to 16-3-1 with the shutout. Reid Hammil and Tyler Margan scored for IRC. Shane Haas had three saves.

East Lake 65, Seminole 51: The Eagles put themselves in the driver's seat to be the North division representative in the Pinellas County Athletic Conference championship game after beating the Warhawks. Jeremy Mogged had 15 points and six assists and George Campbell scored 18 and had nine rebounds to lead East Lake. The Eagles, who are 6-0 in conference play, can clinch the division with a win against Largo on Friday.
Lakewood 61, Largo 47: The Spartans broke open a close game, outscoring the Packers 39-26 in the second half. Jacobi Boykins was the only Lakewood player to reach double figures in scoring with 12.

Standout performances from Wednesday night
Donavan Hale, Largo: The son of former Packers and FSU standout Ron Hale had a team-high 20 points, including two 3-pointers in a losing effort against Lakewood.
Jeremy Mogged, East Lake: The catalyst for the Eagles' turnaround this season distributed the ball nicely with six assists and provided some points, scoring 15 to lead his team past Seminole in a key conference game.
Kyle Curinga, Clearwater CC: The Marauders senior lead scored three goals and had an assist against St. Petersburg Catholic in the Class 2A, District 9 semifinal.
Megan Hamilton, Northeast: The Vikings had four players in double figures in a 70-41 win over Dixie Hollins, led by 23 from Hamilton.
Teddy Aloizakis, Dunedin: The senior forward scored his 30th goal of the season in a 2-0 win over Osceola.
