A-7, INDIAN ROCKS CHR. 1, TAMPA PREP 0: Indian Rocks Christian made history with a win over Tampa Prep in the district final. It was the first time the Golden Eagles defeated Tampa Prep. IRC scored just before the 20-minute water break in the first half on a goal by Rhett Hammil. For the rest of the game, IRC (17-3-1) kept up the pressure and fought off a late Tampa Prep charge.
4A-10, SEMINOLE 3, CLEARWATER 2: Seminole defeated Clearwater for its first district championship in three years. It marks the 12th straight time the Warhawks have advanced to regional play. Clearwater scored early and led 1-0 at the half. But Seminole's Tarik Salkicic scored all of his team's goals in the second half. "That's the best I've seen Clearwater play this season," Seminole coach Rick Masi said. "They played very hard, challenged balls, ran to space. It was a very hard-fought win."
2A-9, BERKELEY PREP 3, CLEARWATER CENTRAL CATHOLIC 0: Berkeley Prep defeated Clearwater Central Catholic. The Marauders will travel to Hardee High in Wauchula for the region quarterfinal.
3A-10, PALMETTO 4, DUNEDIN 0: Dunedin fell to host Palmetto to earns its fourth straight district championship. The game was scoreless at halftime, but Palmetto scored 30 seconds into the second half and never looked back. Dunedin will play Jesuit in Tuesday's region quarterfinal.

BOCA CIEGA 67, LAKEWOOD 53: The Pirates exacted revenge on their neighboring rival in a key district and conference game. Lakewood jumped out to an 18-11 lead in the first quarter before Boca Ciega went on a tear. Dallas Moore scored 25 and Michael Clark added 20 to lead the Pirates in scoring.

SEMINOLE 2, PLANT CITY 1 (OT): Throughout the playoffs, the Warhawks have battled through injuries and survived close games. Seminole did it again Friday, advancing to the region final for the fifth straight season with an overtime win over Plant City. Jordyn Turner scored both goals for the Warhawks, including the winner in overtime.
OSCEOLA 1, ROBINSON 0: The Warriors are in the region final for the first time since 2001 by playing stifling defense and getting a timely goal.

Standout performances from Friday night
PATRICK MITCHELL, NORTHEAST: The Vikings senior scored 22, grabbed 12 rebounds and had three blocked shots in a 72-54 win over Dixie Hollins.
TARIK SALKICIC, SEMINOLE: The Warhawks scorer came through in the second half of their district final with three goals for a 3-2 win over Clearwater.
KASEY DRAYTON, LAKEWOOD: The Spartans forward was nearly unstoppable in their 61-39 PCAC win over Palm Harbor University. She scored 21, most on layups.
DALLAS MOORE, BOCA CIEGA: Moore scored 25 in a big 67-53 win over rival Lakewood.
DANNY GEORGE, COUNTRYSIDE: In penalty kicks, he smothered three shots to seal a victory in the district final.
KARINA WHITE, EAST LAKE: In the Class 5A region final, White scored a goal to tie the game and had an assist on the winner as the Eagles beat Palm Harbor University 3-2.
GARY SIMON, GIBBS: Simon had one of his best games this season, scoring 27, including five 3-pointers.
