ONE KILLED AND THREE INJURED IN SHOOTING

ORLANDO

Authorities say one person was killed and three were wounded in a shooting outside an Orlando restaurant.

Orlando police spokesman Joseph Windt says the shooting happened around 2 a.m. Sunday at Taqueria Los Deleites.

The Orlando Sentinel reports a police officer saw a vehicle leaving the scene. After a brief pursuit, the officer took one woman and three men into custody for questioning. Police did not release the names of the shooting victims or the suspects.

Shooting injures two at South Florida Fair

Deputies say two people were injured in a shooting on the grounds of the South Florida Fair.

Palm Beach sheriff's officials say the shooting occurred late Saturday night. The victims were not believed to have life-threatening injuries. They were both taken to hospitals.

The Palm Beach Post reports deputies locked down the fairgrounds until around 1 a.m., when patrons were allowed to leave. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.

Deputy kills man during traffic stop

A North Florida sheriff's deputy fatally shot a man during a traffic stop.

Marion County sheriff's officials say the shooting happened Saturday night southeast of Ocala. The Ocala Star-Banner reports Deputy Steve Simpson received bumps and bruises during the incident. The Sheriff's Office has not released details about what led to the shooting. The name of the shooting victim has not been released. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating.
