If you've been paying attention at all to the weather news, you know it's supposed to rain, rain, rain all weekend.
Boooooooooo. But, a little rain never stopped a good sale, right? Here are a couple we know of. If you have any others, leave them in the comments.
ARTpool indie market
One of our favorite places, ARTpool vintage boutique and gallery in St. Pete, is hosting a huge "indie" market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It'll be filled with crafts, jewelry, clothes, accessoroes and even furniture, we hear, all from local merchants.
Fun, huh? And, it's happening rain or shine.
So go! You'll probably see me there, hunting for some funky vintage accessories.
Home furnishing sidewalk sale
Many of us Deal Divas have just recently, or are in the process of, moving. So we're all into the "home" stuff right now. Well, Paper Street Market, a darling antique shop on Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete, is having its Sidewalk Extravaganza on Saturday.
Here's the deets: The sale goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will feature food, music, and specaials on vintage furniture and other wares the shop sells (I've even found jewelry there before)
PLUS, other shops nearby are also planning similar events. We're talking all along Central, from MLK to 16th streets.
