ADER, Muriel Doris 88, of Pinellas Park, passed away on June 20, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Nutley, NJ. She lived in Newark for 23 years and moved to Pinellas Park where she resided for 38 years. She was a Dental Assistant for 23 years with the Pinellas County Government and worked at St. Pete Geriatric Clinic from 1974-1996. She loved traveling with her son, Norman to places such as Venice and Assissi, Italy and Christmas Markets in Germany. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Ader; son, Kenneth Ader; and her parents, Joseph & Bertha Elliott; grandparents, John & Augusta Werner. She is survived by her son, Norman F. BROCK, James A. "Jimmy" 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was born in Cleveland, TN, raised in Chattanooga, TN and came to Clearwater in 1963. He was employed for 45 years by Neumann Oil Co, Tampa where he began his career as a salesman and rising to the role of General Manager. Jimmy was admired and respected by his thousands of customers and friends. He was an avid NASCAR and country music fan and a long time supporter of the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Brock and a sister, Jo Ann Smith. CARR, Wilsie E. Wingfield 91, of Belleair, passed away June 20, 2012. Born in Athens, GA, where she taught dancing in her own studio at age 17, she moved to Florida in the late 1940s and then met and married her beloved husband, Robert E. Carr in 1951. She opened Belleair Travel in 1964 and with her husband, Bob, owned four other travel agencies, a tour business and started three local newspapers known as the Belleair Bee in 1975 and later the Largo Leader and Beach Bee. Wilsie was also a principal organizer of the worldwide genealogical organization, the Wingfield Family Society in 1987. Formerly active in the Clearwater Chapter NSDAR, National Society of Arts & Letters - Clearwater, Business & Professional Association of Belleair Bluffs, Inc. and Leading Ladies (PACT). She is survived by Bob, her loving husband of 60 years; one brother, William Callaway Wingfield III (Barbara) of Vero Beach; two daughters, Robin Carr Schenck of Clearwater and Melissa (John) Prohs of Gold River, CA; a son, Robert (Sharon) Craig Carr of Jacksonville; and two grandsons, Thomas and Scotty Schenck. DARREY, John J. entered eternal life peacefully on June 21, 2012 at home with family just a few days short of his 94th birthday. He was known to all who met him as a kind man - enthusiastic, positive, energetic, smiling and optimistic. He was skilled as a carpenter craftsman. He was very innovative and resourceful. He was also, a man with unwavering steadfast faith in God. John was born in Ashland, WI in 1918 to John and Alice Darrey who preceded him in death as well as his five older sisters. He was a flight crew member in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trude. He is survived by three sons, John "Mick" (Judie) Darrey, Jeff (Sharon) Darrey, Tim (Bridget) Darrey; two stepsons David (Sandi) Todd and Richard (Lori) Todd; daughter-in-law, Donna Darrey; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. John was the founder of Darrey Construction Co. in 1947 in Racine, WI which he successfully operated for 27 years and was an independent building contractor for two decades in Clearwater. For the most recent ten years, he was employed by Publix at Neptune where he loved visiting and engaging with customers. There will be a Catholic funeral Mass for John celebrated by Fr. David Toups on Monday, June 25th at Christ the King Catholic Church at 2:30 pm. A visitation with friends will take place one hour before Mass. DAVIS, Elsie Verna "Jones" 90, of Pinellas Park passed away peacefully and went home to be with her Savior on June 19, 2012. She was born on Dec. 20, 1921 in Leslie, GA, to her parents, Josiah and Ruth. Elsie married Bob in Baton Rouge, LA on May 5, 1942. She attended St. Petersburg High School and graduated in 1940. DOMAGAS, Cesar 84, of Tampa, passed June 19th, 2012. Born in the Philippines, he emigrated to Canada with his wife and son in 1966, and eventually to the United States where they became U.S. citizens. After some time in Minnesota, a warmer climate and better job opportunity brought him and his family to Florida in the early 70's, where he called Tampa home until his death. A retired Electrical Engineer with Tampa Electric Company, he was a devout Catholic, devoted husband and loving father. As a founding member of the Pilipino American Association of Tampa (PAAT), he dedicated much of his time to the growth of the Filipino community in Tampa. Preceded in death by his wife, Emerita; parents, Julio Sr. & Rosario; a brother, Julio Jr. Survived by his only child, Allan Domagas and partner, David Coats of Brooksville; brothers, Renato and Fernando (Philippines); sisters, Alice (Philippines) and Purita (California); many brothers & sisters-in-law; several nieces & nephews. LAWSON, Lynne Hough 78, of Temple Terrace, and a cabin on Lake Wylie, SC, passed away on June 18, 2012 at CMC-Main. She was born on March 30, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Alvin and Sarah Adams Hough. Lynne was educated in the Wilkinsburg, PA school system. She graduated from Penn State with a BS degree in Home Economics. She toured Europe with her College choir in 1955. While living in Pittsburgh, she met her husband, William Lawson, at a church function in 1957. They were married on Aug. 16, 1958, and moved to Temple Terrace in 1959. She sang with the Tampa Oratorio Society and the Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church choir for 52 years. She was an active member of Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, Youth Leader, Youth Education Coordinator, and as an Elder of the church. She worked as a System Analyst with Anderson News for 20 years, retiring in 1999. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William L. Lawson Jr.; her three sons, William III of Charlotte, NC, Douglas of Riverview, FL, and John of Gainesville, their wives, Elizabeth, Chandra, Tammy, and their children, Jackie, Sammi, Katie, John, Sarah; and great-grandson, T. J. Adams. A service to celebrate her life will be held 1 pm July 28, at Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church, 820 Bullard Parkway, Temple Terrace. LEONARD, Dr. Alvin C. Jr. died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 in Ft. Myers. He was born Sept. 10,1931 in Joliet, IL. After serving in the Korean War he graduated from Indiana State University. He and his wife Mary Ellen moved to Pinellas County in 1958. He taught mathematics at Boca Ciega High School before becoming a guidance counselor and the Dean of Student Affairs at St. Petersburg College. He was married to Mary Ellen for 53 years and is survived by their 3 daughters, Dianna Wheeley, Denise Butler and Kathleen Allison; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great- grandchildren. He loved traveling, spending time with friends and family, playing tennis and supporting his favorite sports teams, t.he Cubs and the Gators. LUCAS, Mary Ann 60, went home to her Lord on June 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, James and Lexie Lucas. Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, her "Pumkin" and daughter, Cheryl Lynette (Danny) Lucas. Mary was known as the Original Gangster "O.G." by her grandchildren, Christopher Michael Max (Tiffany) Spurlock, Max Spurlock, Laylah aka "Ganny Gal"; sisters, Rosa, Marjorie, Peggy, Diane; and special friend Timothy Harper. Mary was adopted and had recently reconnected with her biological sisters which gave her such peace and closure. She was so thrilled to discover she was no longer an only child. Mary enjoyed going out to fancy dinners, traveling, and visiting her favorite place, Miami. She was very proud to be asked to speak in Washington, D.C. regarding research for the many causes she held near and dear to her heart. Mary was a fun-loving, beautiful woman who enjoyed good friends and the love of her family. She will remain in the hearts of everyone she touched.

MURPHY, Timothy B. 66, of Safety Harbor, passed away June 12, 2012. Born in St. Louis, MO, he was a long time resident of Wauwatosa, WI before moving to Florida in 2003. A graduate of Chaminade College Prep and the University of Missouri St. Louis, he received his MBA from Concordia University in Milwaukee. Tim was on the Adjunct Faculty of Everest University (Largo) and the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa. Tim is survived by his wife, Sue; his son, Timothy Jr. of Milwaukee, WI; his daughter, Kerry M. of St. Louis, MO; brothers, John P. Murphy III (Susan) of St. Louis, MO and Terrence Murphy (Brenda) of Palm Harbor. ROWE, William J. Jr. (Bill) passed away on June 20, 2012 at age 99. Born in Bridgeport, CT, on March 9, 1913, he lived most of his life in New Haven, CT, retiring to Port Richey, in 1976. He was a loyal member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church for 36 years. He was an avid bowler and bowled a 200 plus game at age 96. Bill was a gentle man, loving and caring with a dry wit that always provoked a smile or laugh. Predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Mildred. Ms. Stola was born Aug. 23, 1957, in Albany, GA, to Muriel Sue Hill Reakirt and the late Archie Henderson Hill Jr. She was a devoted animal advocate and leaves behind two of her most beloved K-9 companions, Dingo and Kai, who will be taken care of by her faithful friend John Jones of Port Richey, and later by her family. TURNER, Edwin Charles 90, of Tampa, passed away on Saturday June 16, 2012. Edwin was born in Pontiac, MI to Thurston and Irene Turner on October 5, 1921. Edwin served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1943-1945 and was a Purple Heart, 5 Bronze Star Veteran. He was on Omaha Beach on D-day, H-hour, and received a Distinguished Unit Badge. Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years, Marjorie Bonhajo Turner; two daughters, Carol Briggs and Tailyn McNeal (and her husband, Mark McNeal); 5 grandchildren, Naomi Mueller, and Jacob, Katrina, Nicholas, and Chad McNeal; 2 nephews and a niece in California. After his military service, his interest in helping others led him to a position with the Social Security Administration in Kalamazoo and Bay City, MI, where he worked helping widows and survivors, the elderly, and the disabled through the claims process. He was promoted to Systems Analyst in 1967 and was transferred to Baltimore, MD. He was instrumental in implementing the microfiche system and converting over 34 million forms to microfilm, thus saving the country countless dollars as well as modernizing the Social Security filing system. After 23 years he retired and moved to sunny Florida. He loved gourmet cooking, writing poetry, Jazz and Classical music, reading books, playing chess or tennis, and always welcomed a lively debate. Interment services will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
