A real estate agent checking a vacant rental home this week discovered a large collection of stolen property, including a loaded AK-47, pistols, drugs and bicycles, according to Sanford police.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that the discovery Wednesday at 1215 W. 10th St. included prescription drugs stolen a day earlier during the burglary of another Sanford home, records show.
"Two brand new bicycles (retails tags still attached), a blue motor scooter (owner identified), gas generator, deep fryer, stereo system with surround sound speakers, vehicle (engine), vehicle tires, stolen Florida Power & Light power meter, ... crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia," were among the items recovered, the report stated.
Five firearms were recovered, including two loaded pistols found in kitchen cabinets, two more pistols hidden in clothing in the kitchen and the loaded AK-47 found in a bedroom.
