Keira Knightley has joined the half-naked magazine cover craze, exposing her top half on the cover of Allure and talking about being bare-chested a lot. That'd be exciting if she wasn't anorexic. Wait, she says she's not anorexic? Oh do go on!
"The anorexic stuff -- all of that -- it's always going to have an impact, so I think it did hit pretty hard," she says of the engative press she started getting in during her Pirates of the Caribbean phase. "Because you go, 'Oh, maybe that's right!' I knew I wasn't anorexic, but maybe my body is somehow not right. Or my face is not right. Or the way I speak is not right. When you're going through a period where you're really getting a lot of criticism, you go, 'Maybe all this is right! You just kind of want to hide it all.'"
She's not hiding it all now, although she does say she'll never expose her bottom half on film (hear that, Rihanna?) and complains about how Hollywood altered her admittedly small chest on a certain movie poster. "For King Arthur, for a poster, they gave me these really strange droopy t---. I thought, 'Well, if you're going to make me fantasy breasts, at least make perky breasts.'" Tinseltown has no shame. It's like The Juice*, but with money, power and influence.
