PICK A HOT TICKET

Keb' Mo' is one of the best blues artists touring today. Los Lobos' David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas are icons of Chicano rock.

So it's no surprise that all three guitarists were invited to perform on this year's Experience Hendrix Tour, during which artists from across all genres paid tribute to the mighty Jimi.

They must have struck up quite a friendship, because it was announced Monday that next spring, Keb' Mo' and Los Lobos will team up for a joint tour that will hit the Palladium in St. Petersburg on March 1. With six Grammys between them, it'll be a feast for the senses for guitar lovers.

Tickets to the show are $55.50-$60, and they'll go on sale at noon Saturday at the Ruth Eckerd Hall box office, or by calling (727) 791-7400. This show is part of an avalanche of big-name shows going on sale this weekend, including:

- Even if you're not a fan of Pink, you might be interested in the opening act she's picked for her Feb. 27 concert at the Tampa Bay Times Forum: The Hives.

- The Used and We Came As Romans will headline the annual Take Action Tour, benefitting the It Gets Better Project. The tour will hit the Ritz Ybor on Feb. 5. Tickets are on sale now for $25.

- Speaking of the Ritz: Star DJ Erick Morillo will perform there on Nov. 29 in what sounds like a wild show: "cascading snow, LED stage walls, lasers, confetti blasters, cryogenics, upgraded heart pumping sound and all the bells & whistles." Tickets start at $25.

- It looks like the Bright Light Social Hour will headline a New Year's Eve party at the Ritz Ybor. Tickets are $26.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Daddy Kool Records, 666 Central Ave., or online at daddykooltickets.com.
