All Clearwater library branches are offering an amnesty period for overdue materials in exchange for donation of nonperishable foods. The program will run from today through Dec. 21. Anyone who has fines due may bring canned goods or nonperishable food items to any branch and present them at the circulation desk with the overdue materials. Staff will waive any fines due and the donated food will go toward a holiday charity food drive. For further information, call (727) 562-4970 or visit www.myclearwater.com.
