There seems to be good news on the injury front for the Bucs.
Starting right guard Jamon Meredith, who has been coping with an ankle injury suffered in practice on Wednesday, is participating in today's light workout, suggesting he'll attempt to play Sunday at Carolina.
Meredith rolled his ankle when a teammate fell on his lower leg, coach Greg Schiano said, and was using crutches after Wednesday's practice. He appears to have come a long way since then.
Also today, cornerback Eric Wright has re-joined the team after missing practice on Thursday for personal reasons, according to Schiano. He is expected to play on Sunday in spite of the Achilles injury he aggravated last Sunday against the Chargers.
