Artist of the day: Four Minute Warning

Clearwater ska group Four Minute Warning claim they're "saving the world, one ska kid at a time."

Singer-guitarist Ian Griffith, bassist Justin Larsen, saxman Austin Graham, trombone player Michael Requena and drummer Michael Hoeft put some fun twists on their music. Chimera veers from a shamlessly sleazy old-school metal riff to hop-stepping chords and horns, while Skank the Night Away jumps from O.A.R.-style pop to skittery licks and beats on a dime.

On Saturday, Four Minute Warning will perform with the Long Johns, Can't Do It and General Tso's Fury at the Local 662 in St. Pete. Tickets are $7. Click here.
