Kevin Clash's accuser wants to undo settlement, said he was pressured

Just when you thought it was safe to feel okay about Elmo again, the man who accused puppeteer Kevin Clash of having a sexual relationship with him when he was only 16 but then recanted has again recanted. Sheldon Stephens is now saying he was pressured to settle for $125,000 and wants to get out of that settlement.

TMZ reports Stephens has met with lawyers and decided to try to undo his settlement, which read in part, "Stephens agrees that immediately upon execution of this Agreement, his counsel, Andreozzi & Associates, P.C., shall release the (following) statement ... 'He (Stephens) wants it to be known that his sexual relationship with Mr. Clash was an adult consensual relationship.'"

The site says Stephens was weeping during the final signing and didn't want to sign the agreement, but said he had been pressured. The 23-year-old wants to forfeit the money and clear his name. We're guessing Clash's leave of absence from Sesame Street isn't quite over yet, then.

"Stephens agrees that immediately upon execution of this Agreement, his counsel, Andreozzi & Associates, P.C., shall release the [following] statement ... 'He [Stephens] wants it to be known that his sexual relationship with Mr. Clash was an adult consensual relationship.'"
