After four years of staying away from Doak Campbell Stadium to allow coach Jimbo Fisher to lead Florida State football, Bobby Bowden will make his return in the fall. Bowden will come back for two games: Oct. 26 against N.C. State and Nov. 16 for homecoming against Syracuse, when FSU will recognize Bowden's 1993 national title team. Bowden, who turns 84 in November, has not attended an FSU game since 2009, his last year coaching. He effectively was forced to retire at that season's end, closing a 33-year tenure that included two national titles and 14 straight Top 5 finishes.
