UPDATE, 12:10 AM: Maddon said the Rays "think he's fine,'' that it hit muscle and not bone, and though he will be sore and stiff and unlikely to play Sunday (Jose Lobaton was going to start anyway), it's "nothing horrible."
UPDATE, 8:54: Officially, Molina left the game with a right quad contusion, and is day to day.
DEVELOPING: C Jose Molina left Saturday's game after being hit by a pitch on the right knee in the fourth inning.

Molina looked initially like he would stay in, as he walked to first base and Rays manager Joe Maddon and head athletic trainer Ron Porterfield headed back to the dugout.
But once Molina got to first, he turned and walked off the field and into the dugout, replaced by Jose Lobaton.
Sean Rodriguez and Ryan Roberts are considered the team's emergency third catchers.
