What they're saying

There's potential danger lurking in Tampa. The Buccaneers are 0-4, have scored only 11 points a game and have a rookie quarterback making only his second career start. But their defense is stout, having held the Saints' potent offense to 16 points in Week 2. The Bucs could have an advantage in several matchups and a scheme designed to give playmakers DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy fits.

(GregSchiano) might be a little overboard with his thoughts on order and discipline. But this was a team in disarray when he arrived. The Josh Freeman episode was a major distraction, but it's over now. Schiano needs to take this team and move forward.

The picks

I'm not sure the Bucs have quite staunched the bleeding brought on by Josh Freeman's messy denouement. Eagles, 26-20.

Don BanksSports Illustrated

The Bucs are coming off a bye and will do so with Josh Freeman being sent packing. The Eagles are playing consecutive road games after beating the Giants last week. That's tough, made tougher by a team coming off the bye. Bucs take it to give Mike Glennon his first NFL victory. Bucs, 27-24.

Pete Prisco

Chip Kelly and company continue to take advantage of a soft spot in the schedule by running circles around a team that won't be able to keep up with the Eagles offense regardless of whether Nick Foles or Mike Vick is running it. If Vick doesn't play, it'll be the first time in league history that both starting quarterbacks in the same game are Napoleon Dynamite doppelgangers. Eagles, 30-20.
