The culinary class schedule at the soon-to-open Epicurean Hotel in Tampa reads like a sophisticated foodie's bucket list:

Oh, plus sessions on romantic dinners, Super Bowl parties and food-and-wine pairings. There are "Wine and Canvas" nights where patrons will sip wine, nibble tapas and paint.
The Epicurean Hotel, which opens in December, is now taking reservations for its classes, beginning Jan. 20. The demonstration classes start at $50 and top out at $125, and the schedule is set into February.
Classes will be held in the hotel's 32-seat Epicurean Theatre and will be taught by local experts as well as visiting chefs and wine authorities.
The 137-room hotel, at 1207 S Howard Ave., is being developed in collaboration with Bern's Steak House across the street. Marriott's Autograph Collection and Mainsail Lodging & Development are the other partners.
Among other amenities at the hotel will be restaurant levage, rooftop bar Edge and Chocolate Pi patisserie helmed by famed local pastry chef Kim Yelvington and featuring pastries plus handcrafted chocolates and macarons. Bern's Fine Wines & Spirits retail shop will also be at the hotel.
levage is the first Bern's restaurant to serve breakfast and lunch in addition to dinner. It will be more casual than the steak house and SideBern's. Think coq au vin potpie and his grandmother's meatloaf.
