LOVE-HATE OF THE DAY
Among the things that are good for the health of the NBA is hating the Heat, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says. He believes the polarizing nature of the two-time defending league champion benefits the league. "They're kind of, in some respects ... like the Oakland Raiders when they were winning. ... You either love them or hate them," Cuban says of the Heat. Cuban has a more personal dichotomous relationship with the Heat. He's still bitter about the Heat beating the Mavs in the 2006 Finals, but the Mavs' 2011 Finals victory is the lone time the Heat has been beaten in a playoff series since LeBron James took himself to South Beach.
