PLANT DOMINATES COUNTY CROSS COUNTRY MEET

In Friday's Hillsborough County Championships for cross country at Pebble Creek, Plant swept the boys and girls team titles.

The Panther girls (60 points) placed three runners in the top 10, led by champion Anna Montgomery (17:49.60). Abigail Crowder (18:48.60) was sixth and Bailey Sullivan ninth (18:58.80). Holy Names (152) was runnerup, paced by Colleen Doherty's 10th-place finish (18:59.80).

The Panthers (69) also boasted the individual boys winner - Jack Guyton (15:01.10). Teammate Evan Collura was also in the top 10 (sixth, 15:48.50). Jesuit (92) was runnerup, with Tim O'Loughlin (fifth, 15:45.70) and Phillip Robbins (10th, 15:54.30) placing high.

The girls runnerup was Brandon's Eliana Ochoa (18:27.20) and the boys was Sickles' James Zentmeyer (15:02.00).
