Local Groups Say Common Core Will Be The End Of America As We Know It!
Community Issues Council President Terry Kemple asks, "If Common Core isn't as bad as we say then why did they try to trick us about it by changing the name?"
He asks many additional questions like, "Why do they have to lie and say it won't affect home school or private school students?"
Or, "Why do they use the terms 'rigorous' and 'internationally benchmarked' when, in actuality, it's neither of those things?"
In addition to Kemple, leaders of Tea Party, 912 Project, and Republican groups have said they'll be at the Press Conference to let our state legislators know that Common Core, by any name, is unacceptable.
