AARONS, Lawrence Scott age 56 of Tampa died Friday, April 4, 2014. Mr. Aarons wasborn in Newark, NJ and although he lived in Tampa he had a strong connection to the State of Israel where he lived with his family on two separate occasions. He was a graduate of Stetson Law School and practiced immigration and familylaw. A member of Congregation Kol Ami, Larry was a devoted family man and enjoyed working with his hands.He found pleasure inworking extensively in home improvements and woodworking. Survivors include his beloved wife of over 21 years, Elanit, his mother, Jackie Gothard, father and stepmother, Jerry and Isabel Aarons;four sons, Adam, Erez, Adev and Itai; brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Nava Aarons and sister, Stacey Aarons. BOCK, Elaine "Sunny" Heaven's gates opened wide for her on Thursday, April 3, 2014. She was an angel on earth, leaving a path of kindness, compassion and love enriching and bringing light to every life she touched throughout her 87 years. Nicknamed "Sunny" in nursing school at the early age of 17 for her sunny disposition and contagious smile, she spread "Sun"shine everywhere during her life as a registered nurse, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and loyal friend, leaving her loving mark upon everyone. Her love of humankind lives on in her four surviving children, Mitch (Marcia) Nicolaisen and Neil (Beth) Nicolaisen of Phoenix, AZ, Robin Nicolaisen of Oakboro, NC and Kris (Barbara) Nicolaisen of St. Petersburg; grandchildren, Brad, Lauren, Tyler, Erik, Kristoffer, Garrett; & great-grandchildren Adrienne, Peter, Julien and baby girl, Ryan. CARDOSI, Victor Jr. 82, of Palm Harbor, passed away April 1, 2014. He was born in Cambridge, MA, the son of Victor and Lorna. His brother, William, predeceased him. Raised and educated in Rochester, NH, he served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War Conflict. He graduated cum laude from the University of New Hampshire and from the Graduate School of Savings Banking at Brown University. He also was a graduate of the American Institute of Banking. He retired as the Senior Vice President of Southeast Bank for Savings in Dover, NH. Vic was a former trustee of Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. He served as President of the United Way of Strafford County, director of the Dover-Durham NH Rotary Club and was a former Deacon of the Wells Congregational Church in Wells, ME. After retiring, Vic was a substitute teacher for 15 years in the Pinellas County School System. He coached Babe Ruth Baseball for many years in Rochester, NH winning a New England Championship. Besides his wife, Marthalie (Marty), survivors include his children, Rick Cardosi of Ocklawaha, FL, Lynn Coppola of Auburn, NH, Kim Cardosi-Grant of Farmington. NH. He leaves two stepchildren, Robert Prince of South Portland, ME and Stephanie Prince of West Palm Beach, FL; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Vic will be loved and fondly remembered by his family and many friends. Burial will take place this summer in East Rochester, NH. COHMER, Lowell Raymond born near Sabina, OH in Clinton County May 24, 1939, died in Seminole April 2, 2014 at his residence. He was married to Daisy Rhuda Basalo Cohmer on Dec. 16, 2000. EDWARDS, John G. "Jack" 82, passed away March 12, 2014. Jack served in the Air Force during the Korean War and retired NY State Security Officer. Upon retiring, Jack moved to Florida and was involved in several veterans' organizations including the Korean War Veterans Asso-ciation (KWVA) in which he was founder and president of the Sunshine State Chapter, first president KWVA depart-ment of Florida and KWVA National Director for several years. Jack is survived by his wife, Jean of 60 years; daughter, Debbie; and sons, David, Dennis, Douglas, Darryl and Derek. Jack was preceded in death by his youngest child, Danny. There will be a mem-orial service and life cele-bration April 6th, 2-4 pm at American Legion Post 7, 1760 Turner St., Clearwater.

HENDERSON, Gary M. 72, of Tampa, passed away April 1, 2014. He was a Vietnam veteran in the Air Force. He worked for Kane's furniture for many years. Gary loved U.S. History and enjoyed digging for ancient artifacts. He was an accomplished guitarist. JOHNSON, Henry Conrad "Hank", 85, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014. He was born June 4, 1928 in Cleveland, OH. He had two brothers, Albert and Earl Ecker. Both have passed. Hank was married to his loving wife Jeanne Johnson for 45 years until she passed away in 1995. Hank was in the US Army serving for 4 years and graduated from Tokyo University with a culinary degree. The family moved to Florida in 1956 and Hank became a St. Petersburg fireman. He was also one of the city's first paramedics. Hank retired as a lieutenant after 25 years then worked 10 more years as a fire inspector for the city of Largo. Hank is survived by his companion of 14 years, Barbara Esposito; 3 sons, John Johnson of Hendersonville, NC, Tom (Heidi) Johnson of Braden-ton, FL, Jerry (Dina) Johnson of Seattle, WA; and adoring grandchildren, Kyle (Suzy), Matthew, Hannah, Farrin and Shane. LAMPIEN, Charles A. 76, Sun City Center, passed away April 2, 2014. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired as a limousine driver. VELEY, Nicholas "Nick" 26, of Tampa, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, due to a work related injury. He was born in Oneianna, NY on Aug. 28, 1987, to Allyson Baylis Veley. He was a loving father and husband. Nick graduated from King High School in 2005, and was a certified firefighter EMT and electrician. He met the love of his life in 2005 and they married on May 7, 2010.
