GRIZZLIES BEAT HEAT

Zach Randolph had 25 points and 11 rebounds and Marc Gasol 20 points and 14 rebounds as the host Grizzlies kept their playoff hopes alive with a 107-102 win over the Heat. Mike Conley added a team-high 26 points and six assists. LeBron James led Miami with 37 points. He made 14 of 23 shots, including 3 of 5 3-pointers. Rashard Lewis scored 17.

MAGIC WINS AGAIN: Arron Afflalo scored 25 to help the host Magic hold off the Nets 115-111. Orlando, which has won two in a row, led by six with 1:58 left. Brooklyn cut it to 110-109 with 14 seconds left. But Afflalo and Jameer Nelson combined for three free throws to seal it.

AROUND THE LEAGUE: Warriors forward David Lee hopes to return for the playoffs. The ex-Gator has missed six games with a damaged nerve that connects his back to his right hamstring. ... Heat guard Dwyane Wade missed his eighth game with a strained left hamstring, but coach Erik Spoelstra said he is close to returning. ...
