Benjamin Booker talks Tampa roots: Mojo Books and Music, New World Brewery, Transitions Art Gallery and more

Friday, October 3, 2014 7:00am

Benjamin Booker has spent much of 2014's Next Big Things: Touring with Jack White, playing David Letterman, performing at festivals worldwide.

But as we all know by now, Booker got his start in Tampa, where he lived until last year, performing at venues like New World Brewery, Transitions Art Gallery and Mojo Books and Music. As he continues his swift rise, we thought it would be a good time to ask him to reflect on his Tampa roots.

If you're curious what all the fuss is about, Booker will perform at the Coral Skies Music Festival on Oct. 25 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa. Click here for details.
