The Orioles ride a four-run 8th to stun the Tigers.

Former Ray Delmon Young drove in three runs with a pinch-hit double in the eighth inning to highlight a four-run rally and a 7-6 victory Friday over the Tigers, giving Baltimore a 2-0 lead in the AL Division Series.

In Game 1s of the NLDS, Jake Peavy took a no-hitter into the fifth to outpitch Stephen Strasburg, and the Giants won their ninth consecutive postseason game, beating the host Nationals 3-2. In Los Angeles, the Cardinals shocked starter Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers as Matt Carpenter hit a go-ahead, three-run double off the likely Cy Young Award winner in an eight-run seventh in St. Louis' 10-9 victory.

The other ALDS game, Royals at Angels, was not over at press time. Go to tampabay.com/sports for the result.
