DUVAL, Dorothy L. 86, of New Port Richey passed away on Oct. 4, 2014. She is survived by her son, Allen (Jean); 4 grandchildren, Christian Duval (Leah), Debbie Kozlowski (Joe), Kimberly Morrow, Melissa Peretin (Jeff); and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore (Ted) and her son, Mark. At the age of 44, after empty nest Dorothy went to college and got her degree in nursing and developed a 20 year career as a psychiatric nurse at Mayview State Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. After retiring to Florida Dorothy and Ted began their retired years together country western and ballroom dancing. Dorothy loved to travel and entertain their many friends over the years. She also was a volunteer with the Elfers Senior Care Center and also enjoy playing cards and was an avid rummy cube player. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made the Florida Gulf Coast chapter of Alzheimer Association, 14010 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 709, Clearwater, FL 37762. The family will receive friends at the Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 am to 12 noon where funeral services will begin at 12 noon. FERRIERO, Patricia Ruth (Connolly) Pat, age 84, passed away peacefully at her home in Merritt Island, surrounded by family. She was born July 24, 1930, in Beverly, MA, to Ruth (OBrien) Connolly and James Connolly. One of four children, she was survived by her brother, Brian Connolly; and predeceased by sisters, Barbara (Connolly) Lohnes and Katherine Kitty (Connolly) Citroni. She married her soul mate Louis Louie Ferriero on Aug. 30, 1948. They continued to live in Beverly where they had ten children, Jimmy, Janie Velluto-Huber, Karen Fitzgerald, Bruce, Stevie, Patti Distasio, Terri Eldridge, Louie, Joey, and John Ferriero. They later moved to Hampstead, NH, and in 1980, to Florida. Pat had a love and talent for quilting and sewing, but her truest passion was for her family. She was known for her big heart, nurturing ways, and a smile that could light any room. Pat was absolutely adored by her 17 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. She was loved and will be truly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Mass will be held for Pat Wednesday, Oct. 8, 10 am, at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 1940 N. HARMON, Margaret Katherine passed away peacefully Oct. 4, 2014 in Largo. She was born in Johnson County, MO Feb. 4, 1923. he was preceded in death by her parents, Edward H. Handly Jr. and Kate Young Handly and sister, Ann Handly Bechold Marr and brother, Lynn Y. Handly of Warrensbug, MO. Margaret was married to C. Adrian Harmon for 73 years residing in Warrensburg and The Lake of the Ozarks, until retiring to Florida in 1997. She was a 65 year member of the First United Methodist Church of Warrensburg, 50 year member PEO Chapter KD, 57 year member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Past State President of Federated Womens Club, and volunteered for many community organizations. She is survived by her husband; sons, Lynn A. Harmon, Tommy D. Harmon; daughter, Deborah Harmon Rankin; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. LAZO, Sandra Diane of Tampa passed away Oct. 3, 2014. MICILLO, Marie Rose Born on Dec. 12, 1927 in New York City, passed away Oct. 5, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Saverio (Sal); her parents, Anthony (TD) and Linda Ciampa De Palo; her brother, Thomas; and sister, Catherine (Katie). She leaves behind her loving children, Theresa (Contardo), Linda (Gerena), Maria (Podell) and Patricia Ann (Frank) Piro. Marie had 10 grandchildren, 8 boys and 2 girls; and 1 great- grandson, Michael Contardo. After raising her four daughters, she entered college and realized her lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse. She worked in a hospital setting for some years and then became the first RN to work for the NYC Dept. of Education with severely handicapped children. This was her true calling as she was a very nurturing and compassionate person. She loved to cook, sing, solve word puzzles and, most of all, spend time with her family. MOREE, Blanca loving sister, aunt, and friend, also known as Blanca Marrero and/or Titi Blanca, was received into the Lords care Sept. 27, 2014 after a brief hospitalization. Born Feb. 25, 1918 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Gregorio Marrero and Chenda Quinones, she was one of fourteen children. She is survived by her brother, William Marrero, of Puerto Rico, along with many, many loving nieces and nephews. After living and working in New York City for over 40 years, she moved to Tampa to enjoy her retirement with her younger sister, Haydee Nin, who predeceased her last October. She had a passion for the opera and traveling the world. In Tampa, she enjoyed the warm weather, playing bingo, and trying her luck at the casino. Titi Blanca was a fervent fan of the New York Yankees and Tampa Rays. She was a resident of the University Village for the past 10 1/2 months. A ceremony celebrating her life was offered Sept. 28, 2014 and her ashes will be taken to Puerto Rico for internment in the near future. ONIEAL, George A. age 89, of Seminole, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 4, 2014, surrounded by his daughter, Peg; two sons, Brian and George; and two daughters-in-law, Jan and Annamarie. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he graduated from Lincoln High School and was drafted into the Army in 1943. He landed in the Normandy Invasion in June, 1944 and fought across France with the 4th Armored Division and the 87th Infantry, into Belgium in the Battle of the Bulge in 1944, and then into Germany until the war ended in 1945. He was decorated and honorably discharged from the Army, returning home to join the Jersey City Fire Department in 1950. He served for 28 years in the busiest hook-and-ladder companies in the city, and received several commendations for bravery. He retired in 1978 and moved to Seminole, working several years with the Bic Pen Company. He was extremely proud of his Army and Jersey City Fire Department service. He was predeceased by his wife, Marguerite (Lennon) in 1995; father, Martin in 1958; mother, Frances (Long) in 1971; his brothers, Eugene in 1999 and John in 1991. He is survived by his sister, Saxon; and brother, Martin; and 8 children, Denis, (Ret. JCFD) (Janice), Peg Atamian (Robert), Marie-Eileen (Karen), Brian (Ret. JCPD), (Annamaria), Diane Bonelli (Michael), Susan Kweller (Al); George (Jennifer), and Ellen Little (Wayne). He loved and treasured his precious nine grandchildren, Kathryn McNew (Ron, Fairfax FD), Brian (Ret. JCFD), Ian Atamian (Christina), James (Eileen), William, Michael (NYPD), Jonathan and Anthony Bonelli, and Alex. He was absolutely crazy about his six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Cassidy McNew, Ethan and Dylan Atamian, and Tyler and Jordyn Bonelli. There was never a better father, father-in-law, grandfather or great-grandfather. George was a charter member of the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1066 (JCFD) and served as an elected officer in that organization and in the New Jersey State IAFF organization as a lobbyist in the New Jersey legislature. He was a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, and an avid Tampa Bucs and Rays sports fan. He was a founding member of the Sunday breakfast club for retired firefighters in Pinellas County. There will be a memorial service at Bay Pines Cemetery in Seminole Oct. 21, 10:45 am, and he will be interred with full military honors with his wife Marguerite in the Bay Pines Veterans Cemetery.

WILLIAMS, Maria Antonieta, passed away on Oct. 2, 2014 at age 70. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. Maria, Mimi to many, was born June 22, 1944, in Havana, Cuba. She, along with her family, left Cuba and moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1961 where she spent most of her life. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Kickliter; second husband, Walter Williams; and parents, Ricardo and Maria Cordon. She is survived by her daughters, Mimi Potter and Lore Kickliter; son-in-law, Bill Potter; her grandchildren, Christopher, Erica, Madeline, and Mackenzie; her brother, Ricardo Cordon; and many other special family members. Mimi was an active member of the Clearview Baptist Church. She enjoyed her job at the Tampa Bay Times, trips to her vacation home in North Carolina, gardening, music, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. A church service will be held at 10 am, on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Clearview Baptist Church.
