Andrew Gillum sure looked happy to be back on the trail.
After spending 11 days away from the campaign to help his city through Hurricane Michael, Gillum returned to the stump Friday, delivering a fiery town hall-slash-rally at St. Petersburg College.
The event was billed as a "Town Hall in St. Petersburg on Florida's Resiliency," but the Democratic nominee for governor only took a few questions during the hourlong affair. The audience of 200 to 300 adoring supporters hardly seemed to mind. (Dozens more were denied entry due to space constraints.)
