The series features six 15-minute fictional horror stories based on Ybor history.

The Ybor City web series to be made by Dan Myrick, the director of The Blair Witch Project, doesn’t start shooting until next year, but its production studio has already released its poster plus a synopsis of the first episode.

The series, titled Black Veil, features six 15-minute fictional horror stories based on Ybor history.

The plot of episode one, according to the series’ official website blackveilonline.com, is titled “Camera Obscura” and follows Josette McCallum who, while at a Southern art exhibit, “discovers a photo seemingly taken from a horrific memory she had long suppressed. Soon, she is stricken with an ailment and nightmarish visions. She seeks out the photographer to solve this mystery and its unnatural affliction.”
