That obscenely long list of everything from Louisiana chicken pasta and loaded baked potato tots to red velvet cheesecake is coming to Westfield Countryside.
The Clearwater mall announced in a news release Wednesday that Beverly Hills, Calif.-born chain the Cheesecake Factory plans to open in the former Charming Charlie space this fall. The restaurant off Countryside Boulevard is expanding its spot between JCPenney and Macy’s to 9,600 square feet.
“We are thrilled to kick off the new year announcing the addition of the Cheesecake Factory to the Westfield Countryside tenant lineup,” said Westfield marking director Dawn Arvidson in the release.
Tampa Bay’s next Cheesecake Factory will feature imported limestone floors, custom wood columns, modern lighting and hand-painted murals, plus an indoor and outdoor entrance.
The Cheesecake Factory opened its first restaurant in 1978. With 200-plus locations around the world, the iconic chain is known for serving generous portions from an extensive menu, which includes more than 250 dishes and more than 50 cheesecakes and desserts.
Locally, Cheesecake Factory restaurants are at International Plaza in Tampa, Westfield Brandon and University Town Center in Sarasota. The Westfield Countryside location will join existing dining spots like BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.
