CREATIVE YOUTH: DALÍ BENEFIT FASHION SHOW

The world-class Dalí Museum has far-reaching effects and influences. It offers Fashion Design at the Dalí for high school students, a free program that began in September. Students study the fundamentals of design and construction, and the current group was tasked with creating wearable art inspired by Dalí's work. The 27 students in the program will trot their creations down the runway at Neiman Marcus in International Plaza for the Dalí Benefit Fashion Show. Seven of the designers’ looks are on display on the store’s second floor, where the runway show will happen. Enjoy free drinks and appetizers from Brio. The store will be closed to the public; enter at the first floor men’s department entrance. $50. 6 p.m. Thursday. 2223 N. West Shore Blvd., Tampa. (727) 823-3767. thedali.org.
