When November’s inaugural Miami Beach Pop Festival was postponed last week, all eyes turned slightly north to the Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival, taking place March 5 to 8 in Okeechobee County.

Okeechobee was founded in 2016 by some of the same people who went on to found Miami Beach Pop Festival. After taking 2019 off, it looked like Miami Beach Pop might steal Okeechobee’s South Florida thunder for good.

But with Miami Beach Pop going back to square one, Okeechobee has decided now is the time to unveil its 2020 lineup — and it’s a pretty good mix of indie rock and EDM.

On the rock side, Mumford and Sons, Vampire Weekend, Haim, Sublime with Rome, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Glass Animals, Clairo, Blood Orange, Glass Animals, Arizona, Big Gigantic, Lucy Dacus and more lead the way. On the EDM side, you’ve got Bassnectar, Rufus du Sol, Kaskade, Alison Wonderland, San Holo, Tipper, Said the Sky and more. And throughout the rest of the weekend, campers will see Gunna, Bob Moses, Flatbush Zombies, Machine Gun Kelly, EarthGang, G Jones, Hippie Sabotage, the Aces, Lotus, Papadosio and many more.

Tickets and camping passes go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday. General admission weekend passes start at $249, with single-car camping passes (which include a festival ticket) starting at $298.
