New concerts: Coin, Circa Survive, Mike Epps, the Mavericks, more

  • Alt-rockers Coin are cashing in on their appeal in the Tampa Bay area by returning to Tampa’s Ritz Ybor on March 10. Sure Sure will open. Click here.
  • Circa Survive is bringing a tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their album Blue Sky Noise to Jannus Live in St. Petersburg on March 28. Click here.
  • A powerful jazz-soul combo is coming to St. Petersburg’s Mahaffey Theater, as Gregory Porter and Ledisi have announced a show there on Feb. 21. Tickets go on sale Friday. Click here.
  • Comic Mike Epps is returning to Tampa’s Yuengling Center on Feb. 7, alongside Sommore, Gary Owen and Lavell Crawford. Tickets go on sale Wednesday. Click here.
  • Tex-Mex-flavored country group the Mavericks will return to Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater on May 30. Tickets are $38.25 and up. Click here.
  • British blues legend John Mayall is coming to Clearwater’s Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre on March 11. Tickets are $39 and up. Click here.
  • The Weight Band, featuring former members of the Band and the Levon Helm Band, is coming to the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre on March 12. Tickets are $29.50 and up. Click here.
