Legendary singer and actress Cher has announced a fresh round of tour dates, and they’ll bring her back to Tampa next spring for the first time since 2004. She’ll perform at Amalie Arena on March 26.

Cher’s actually played Florida quite a bit in recent years, playing Orlando, Jacksonville, Sunrise and Estero this past January alone. But she hasn’t played Tampa since what was billed as her farewell tour back in 2004.

Sweetening the deal, Cher will once again bring Nile Rodgers and Chic along as an opening act, and they’re worth the price of admission in their own right, with hits like Good Times and Le Freak.

Tickets to the show start at $39.95 and go on sale to the public at noon Friday. Click here for details.
