Jonas Brothers’ new Coors Light collaboration debuts in Tampa

The beer isn’t exactly small-batch, but it is a limited edition, and Tampa is one of the few cities to get it.

The last time the Jonas Brothers came to Tampa before their hiatus and reunion, Nick Jonas wasn’t old enough to drink.

Now that the JoBros are back and in the throes of a major comeback tour, they’ve got their own line of beer. And Tampa is one of the few cities where you can get it.

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas partnered on a limited edition of Coors Light that is available exclusively through the snack-delivery service GoPuff, and only in a handful of markets. Six-packs with the brothers’ faces on the label went on sale this morning in Tampa, Nashville, Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia.

The promotion does seem to be specific to Tampa, as GoPuff is not yet available in St. Petersburg, Clearwater and other surrounding cities. And even if you live in Tampa, you might not be able to get it — the map provided on GoPuff’s website is centered around the Seminole Heights area. You’ll have to enter your address to see if you can get it.

A news release about the beer said the brothers “played a part in brewing it,” although it doesn’t sound like they tried to pressure MillerCoors into brewing some outrageous triple IPA or barrel-aged imperial stout. It’s just Coors Light with the Jonas Brothers’ picture on the label. Still, that should be enough to get fans on board.
