New concerts: Melissa Etheridge, 10,000 Maniacs, Lil Jon, more

  • Grammy- and Oscar-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge is coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater on May 1. Tickets are $49.50 and up. Click here.
  • Ruth Eckerd Hall has announced the free concert lineup for next year’s Blast Friday street parties in downtown Clearwater. Performing outside the Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre will be the BStreetBand (Jan. 31), John Waite (Feb. 28), Pablo Cruise (March 27), 10,000 Maniacs (April 24) and a local showcase (May 29).   • Lil Jon is coming to WTR in Tampa on Dec. 6 to DJ what’s being billed as a “Naughty Elf Christmas Party.” Tickets are $17.50 and up. Click here.
  • As promised last week, Martin Lawrence is bringing his Lit AF Tour to the Yuengling Center on March 12 — and now we know who he’s bringing with him. DeRay Davis, Michael Blackson and Adele Givens are among the standups announced thus far for the Tampa date. Tickets are $42 and up. Click here.
  • Gullah jazz quintet Ranky Tanky is coming to the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa on April 5. Tickets are $25.50 and up. Click here.

  • Bad Omens, Oh Sleeper, Thousand Below and Bloodline are performing at the Pegasus Lounge on Feb. 29. Click here.
  • Teen dance sensation Mackenzie Ziegler, the younger sister of viral Sia stand-in Maddie Ziegler, is coming to the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg for a show called Disney Dance Upon a Dream. It takes place March 5. Click here.
