The last time Brittany Howard came to St. Petersburg, she sold out Jannus Live with her electrifying band Alabama Shakes.

This time around, she’ll have the place all to herself.

The Grammy-winning singer announced Tuesday that the next leg of her solo tour will bring her to Jannus Live on April 21. Tickets to the show start at $39.50 and go on sale Friday. Click here for details.

Howard hasn’t been singing many Alabama Shakes songs at her recent shows, but that shouldn’t matter much. Her recent solo debut album Jaime has received tons of acclaim, with Paste saying it “erases genre” and Pitchfork saying it “pushes the boundaries of voice, sound, and soul to new extremes.” Howard’s single History Repeats is nominated for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song at this year’s Grammy Awards.
